Het luisteren naar muziek op de radio is een van mijn allereerste herinneringen. Toen in Doe Maar een concert in Tiel gaf, was de teleurstelling groot dat ik van mijn ouders er niet naar toe mocht. Ik was toch bijna acht jaar! Aan het einde van de jaren tachtig ontdekte ik de muziek van U2 en hun muziek is sinds die tijd mijn passie. Vele concerten volgden, ook van andere artiesten in een breed muzikaal spectrum. Mijn interesse voor fotograferen ontstond tijdens mijn studietijd. Buitenlandse landschappen en architectuur werden geduldig vastgelegd.
